There were many problems faced during the coursework of the final magazine. Some problems halted the work until I came up with an idea to solve that.

Casting is not an easy task to do. Especially, when you are doing street photography. We have to find young boys as our models. I think of the people in my close circle which will easily allow us. I selected one of my relatives so now I have to convince his mother about the idea. I tried to anwser her all queries and finally she allowed me. The first problem I faced during casting was that the person (who was my relative) which was finalised for our shooting day, didn't show up on the shooting day due to his sickness. This was a potential set back, as we need to find another person as our backup model in little time. That was a pretty difficult task. I tried to convince random children at the playground to act as our models. Luckily, these all were of young and willingly allowed us to take their pictures. Some of them were shy to be displayed on camera but I tried to convince them that they will look amazing in the photographs.

Equipments are extremely important for producing a quality content. Bearing this in mind, we have to arrange equipments that were needed during the coursework. I know that my mobile phone (Iphone X) can give me good pictures but rules like depth of field cannot be applied. So I requested my friend to give me his camera and lens for shooting. Although, he agreed to give me but he started give me dates, in which his camera would be free. He said that the camera would be free at the weekend but later he said I will not available as I need to attend my family function. This wasted my one week as I waited for the next weekend. The rest of the equipment were easy to arrange.

We also faced problems because of the changing weather. We decided to meet at morning like 7-8 o clock at the shooting day. But my group mate and I were unable to get together until 10 in the morning. We have little time for shooting, as the sun was rising in the horizon. First we shoot for our group mate, Haseeb. But later when it was my turn the sun has risen to the horizon and the pictures were all ruined. The brightness of the models were increased naturally. The faces were not clear. The shadows of the pictures also get increased. We have to comply with the deadlines, so I did not reshedule the shooting day and tried to capture the best pictures which could be taken at that time. Later, I did color correction during the production process.

A good location is vital for shooting. A photographer must know the places which might give the result that he has imagined before the shooting day. Therefore, I tried to take note of possible shooting locations before the shooting day. One of them was a broken road which was being built again. The location could go well with our magazine name, "Shattered". But one day before the shooting day, it was completely built again. So this location cannot be used. The next possible location was a public park, "Gulshan Iqbal Park". But it required special permission from the authorities. The guards of the park did not let us get an entry with the camera. The permission of the authorities would have taken a lot of time. So we decided to change our location to another public park which did not have such rules.
