Shallow depth of field

This is technique which focuses on blurring the background and the subject is kept sharp. This is referred as focusing on a particular subject so that the attention of viewer can be shifted to the focused area.

The close up shot is angle that is fixed in closer range to the subject and which capture the details and emotions from that perspective.
