Hello folks! Another day, Another blog. So today we decided to do a survey in our friend circle as a tool to collect data. This might help us to decide the topic for our magazine and gain useful relevant knowledge.
We started by making a rough sketch which was made by the contribution of both the team members. Some question were copied by an older version of magazine survey and was amended to make it relevant in today date. We than made digital copy on the Microsoft word 2007. After all the amendments we than finally made the google form which was than forwarded in our friend circle.
As whole, this survey contributed well in our decision making as we preferred to choose the most popular topic, Child Labor, as our social issue for our final magazine. We reflected the choices of masses and tried to work according to that. A detailed survey with many options also gave use more detailed information as we can easily identify individual choices.

This is the rough sketch drawn in which we included all the important questions about the genres of magazine and social issues of magazine. Only the rough sketch was time consuming to make as after that we just need to transfer data already created to other platform.

The form was made with 9 question which included all the shortlisted important questions. It got 18 responses which, in my opinion, are less. But we aimed for data collection from our friend circle only. On the other hand, if we get the form filled from more people, which might gave us the advantage of more accurate information. But due to time limit, we could only get it filled by 18 people. We forwarded the survey form to many people but many of them ignored it and might think about this form as unimportant. This was a setback, so we decided to conduct the survey physically so we could try to get more information.
In my opinion, physical survey was conducted well and we gain much more information about the choice of individuals. People were kind enough to fill out the form for us and gave us useful feedback on our survey. They patiently listened to us, as we explained them that this is for media purpose only.
My partner, Haseeb did a good job in explaining there queries about the questions and try to get more accurate results. We did guide them to a limit as we want to stay unbiased. In contrast, some people were ready to fill the form but they don't allow us to capture them as they asked to get permission from our authorities. We positively listened to their concerns and did not try to disturb their personal space. Physical results might be better than online result because of our presence on the spot which guided them which help us to collect data. Choices of each individual would now be our priority in the designing phase of our magazine. To be honest, staying neutral for the survey was the hardest part of the physical survey but we did it well to get accurate data.
ANALYSIS IN SLIDES
The analysis of the result was done by me. The results were one of most important factors so we analyzed the results. Than I make a presentation on slides so that the data looks more eye catching and feasible to read too.
