Welcome back to another blog, so our topic of this day is mood board. A mood board is a visual representation of a theme that is indented to provoke a particular concept. It mainly consists of collages of images, materials, and text. The purpose of the mood board is to communicate and explore ideas, and establish a common visual language, which will help to guide the process of production. This might communicate a bigger picture in a single representation. This also helps the stakeholders of the project to know, concisely about the project. It can also shape the direction of the project in the brainstorming phase. I took my inspiration from the following mood board examples and also designed my own version couple of times.
EXAMPLES OF MOOD BOARD

MY FIRST ATTEMPT ON MS PAINT

MY SECOND ATTEMPT ON ADOBE SPARK

MY FINAL ATTEMPT ON ADOBE SPARK

This mood board definitely reflects the theme for our final magazine. To be more concise, the theme for our magazine is the red colors which indicates a red flag. This means to stop child labor. I also make use of feeling of freedom as a part of my theme. I selected pictures in which kids are helpless and lonely, and, kids which are confident and having their education. This picture shows everything I am trying to portray to my readers for my final magazine. This idea will be brought forward to the magazine designing part too.
