As our social issue is "Child Labor" so this will be totally non-fiction topic. For this, we have to do street photography for our final magazine. But we need to be aware of the rules and ethics of doing the street photography. So we researched about them and watch a couple of YouTube videos. Some of the things that we learned are as discussed below:
Always respect people privacy and do not try to invade their personal space.
Get to know about the laws and ethics of the public space and it is always better to get permission from the authorities to avoid any disturbance during the photography.
Be mindful of the culture of the place and avoid taking pictures of things that might offend people.
Try to capture as candid as possible for best results.
Capture the frame quickly, as the frame might not be the same even after seconds.
I also learned about the settings of camera for street photography which as as followed:
Shooting mode: Aperture priority (Av) or manual (M)
Aperture: f/8 - f/11 for depth of field, or f/2 for shallow depth of field
ISO: 400-1600 for low light, alter accordingly for brighter conditions
Shutter speed: 1/125th sec or faster to freeze motion
Autofocus: Continuous or single-point to track moving subjects
White balance: Auto or set to appropriate lighting conditions
RAW format: For best post-processing options.
