Coursework Set Brief

Hello everyone! First of all I would like to give you a brief about the syllabus content of Media studies (As Level). Media Studies is a academic study of different form of media platforms and observing the ways these types of media works. This subject including studying on Advertising, Marketing, TV, Film production, Magazine, Radio, and Print media. This helps to develop technical skills in practical life.

There are two main component in As level Media Studies, Foundation Portfolio, and Media texts and contexts.

The first component provides you the choice to do either, Magazine Task, or Film Opening Sequence. Candidate have to make a final product and show the evidence of work on an online blog. He also needs to reflects on the work process.

The second component is a film analysis task in which candidate needs to examine a short sequence of movie and explain the technique and methods use by the film makers.
